Dr. Karis Mical Fagan McCarroll received her medical degree in 1983 from the University of Texas, Galveston, Texas. She completed her residency training in Dermatology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 1987. She has been in private practice in San Antonio since 1989 and joined Dermatology San Antonio in 2001.

Dr. McCarroll has had a great deal of experience in private practice and clinical research and continues to play a key role within the practice. She is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatological Society, and the San Antonio Dermatological Society.
