Dr. Lenz received her medical degree in 2012 from the University of Virginia, where she earned the Glasgow-Rubin Women's Achievement Award for graduating at the top of her medical school class. Following her internship at Brooke Army Medical Center, she had the proud distinction of serving as a U.S. Air Force flight surgeon, providing care for active duty pilots and their families while accruing over one hundred flying hours including combat zone missions. After her tour as a flight surgeon, she completed residency for dermatology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in Lackland Air Force Base, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lenz began her military dermatology career as the Academic Director for the Joint Base San Antonio Dermatology Residency Program and Assistant Professor of Dermatology for the Uniformed Services University. In 2021, she transitioned to civilian life and is excited to join the team at Dermatology San Antonio!
Dr. Lenz is a board-certified dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Diagnosing and treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, rosacea, acne, and skin cancers are her areas of expertise. She also specializes in total body skin exams to screen for skin cancer. Dr. Lenz enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has a profound interest in treating dermatologic conditions in skin of color.
Dr. Lenz enjoys hiking our National Parks, working out at barre classes, and eating pasta. She loves traveling and spending time with her husband, son, and rescue dog.
