Stephen Miller, MD

Dr. Stephen Miller received his medical degree from the University of Toronto Medical School and did his residency in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Toronto and University of California, San Francisco. He was on staff at Toronto General Hospital and served as an attending physician and lecturer in the department of Dermatology at the University of Toronto. He has been actively involved in clinical research trials in Canada and the United States and is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in Dermatology. Dr. Miller established Dermatology San Antonio in 1999. He practices surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology. He provides the full spectrum of dermatological care, from skin cancer detection and treatment to cosmetic dermatology. 

Dr. Miller has advanced training in cutting edge non-invasive aesthetic procedures and treatments. He has trained with top thought leaders from around the world, allowing him to offer his patients the newest advancements in cosmetic dermatology. He is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Miller has been named in Scene Magazine as one of S.A. Best Doctors and Texas Monthly Super Doctors, as well as being named a member of the Leaders Society by the Dermatology Foundation and America’s Top Dermatologists by the Consumer Research Council.

Catherine Tisdall, MD

Dr. Catherine Tisdall received her medical degree and graduated with Honors in 2002 from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She completed her residency training in Dermatology and served as Chief Resident at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She began her career as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical center where she was involved in medical student and resident education. In July 2007 she moved to San Antonio with her family and joined Dermatology San Antonio where she has since become a partner in the practice. She is actively involved in dermatologic clinical research and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Tisdall practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology seeing patients of all ages. She has advanced training in the latest cosmetic techniques and products and offers a wealth of experience and training to all her patients. She enjoys providing care for the full breadth of dermatologic concerns including acne, psoriasis, patch testing, cosmetic procedures, and skin cancer detection and treatment. She is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Contact Dermatitis Society, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society, and the San Antonio Dermatological Society. W. Chad Cragun, MD

Dr. Cragun received his medical degree in 2005 from the University of Virginia – School of Medicine in Charlottesville, earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his Residency training in Dermatology and served as Chief Resident at the combined Army/Air Force training program located at Brooke Army and Wilford Hall Medical Centers in San Antonio, Texas. Following his residency training, he had the distinct experience of deploying to an austere area of Afghanistan as an infantry doctor with the 101st Airborne Division. He served in the military as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and is now practicing at Dermatology San Antonio. Dr. Cragun practices medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He loves patients of all ages. He is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of The American Academy of Dermatology. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Molly, and their five kids. Karis McCarroll, MD., PA

Dr. Karis Mical Fagan McCarroll received her medical degree in 1983 from the University of Texas, Galveston, Texas. She completed her residency training in Dermatology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 1987. She has been in private practice in San Antonio since 1989 and joined Dermatology San Antonio in 2001. Dr. McCarroll has had a great deal of experience in private practice and clinical research and continues to play a key role within the practice. Scott R. Dalton, DO

Dr. Dalton received his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He retired from the US Army Medical Corps with 20 years of honorable service where he practiced dermatology and dermatopathology. During his military service, he completed a civilian sponsored residency in dermatology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He has additional training in dermatopathology completing a fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Following his training, he deployed as the Theater Consultant for dermatology at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. Upon his return from deployment, Dr. Dalton served in the dermatology departments at Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center as a clinical dermatologist and dermatopathologist. Apart from training, he has spent the majority of his military career in San Antonio and now is practicing at Dermatology San Antonio.

Dr. Dalton practices medical and surgical dermatology and dermatopathology. He is board certified in dermatology, dermatopathology and anatomic/clinical pathology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology and the San Antonio Dermatologic Society. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Pamela, and their children, as well as playing guitar and golf. Dr. Dalton sees patients at our Westover Hills clinic.

Timothy Cragun, DO

Dr. Timothy Cragun is a board-certified dermatologist originally from Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He completed a Family Medicine Residency in 2002 and worked as a Family Practice Physician until 2008 when he started studying his true passion--dermatology. He completed his dermatology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in 2011 where he served as chief resident. Dr. Cragun retired from the United States Air Force in 2019 and is happy to have had the opportunity to serve the men and women of the military and live in many areas throughout the world over his 20-year Air Force career. He is excited to be joining the amazing team at Dermatology San Antonio.

Dr. Cragun's interests include treating acne, skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, the aging face as well as the use of lasers in the treatment of a variety of skin conditions. Dr. Cragun is fluent in Spanish and enjoys taking care of Spanish-speaking patients. He is the proud father of four children (plus a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law) and has been married to his cherished wife, Ami, for 28 years. Dr. Cragun loves to travel, all things BYU, is an avid runner, mediocre skier, and a struggling golfer.

Brittany Lenz, MD

Dr. Lenz received her medical degree in 2012 from the University of Virginia, where she earned the Glasgow-Rubin Women's Achievement Award for graduating at the top of her medical school class. Following her internship at Brooke Army Medical Center, she had the proud distinction of serving as a U.S. Air Force flight surgeon, providing care for active duty pilots and their families while accruing over one hundred flying hours including combat zone missions. After her tour as a flight surgeon, she completed residency for dermatology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in Lackland Air Force Base, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lenz began her military dermatology career as the Academic Director for the Joint Base San Antonio Dermatology Residency Program and Assistant Professor of Dermatology for the Uniformed Services University. In 2021, she transitioned to civilian life and is excited to join the team at Dermatology San Antonio!

Dr. Lenz is a board-certified dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Diagnosing and treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, rosacea, acne, and skin cancers are her areas of expertise. She also specializes in total body skin exams to screen for skin cancer. Dr. Lenz enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has a profound interest in treating dermatologic conditions in skin of color.

Dr. Lenz enjoys hiking our National Parks, working out at barre classes, and eating pasta. She loves traveling and spending time with her husband, sons, and rescue dog.

Marie Han, MD

Dr. Han received her medical degree in 2003 from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Dermatology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in Texas (SAUSHEC). Dr. Han is a board-certified dermatologist and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years as a Chief Flight Surgeon. Squadron Commander, Deputy Group Commander and Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the College of Medicine, Texas A&M University in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Han specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and enjoys seeing patients of all ages.

When not working, Dr. Han enjoys spending time with her husband Steve, and two daughters, Emma and Madison. She enjoys playing tennis, running and playing the piano. Dr. Han sees patients at our Westover Hills, Shavano and Helotes clinic.

Mui Lee, PA-C

Mui is a certified Physician Assistant with 15 years of experience in clinical and surgical dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Mui holds a Master of Science in PA studies from UMDNJ- Rutgers and a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from UCSD. She is a Diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant, the highest honor available as a Dermatology PA. Mui is a fully trained Physician Assistant. She is qualified to perform comprehensive dermatological examinations, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy. Cesar Veliz, PA-C

Cesar is a board-certified Physician Assistant and graduate of the Interservice Physician Assistant Program. He is a retired United States Army Officer and is grateful to have served the men and women of the military throughout his 25-year career. He completed a clinically intensive dermatology internship with our board-certified Dermatologists and is excited to be part of the Dermatology San Antonio team!

Heather grew up in Spokane, Washington and after meeting her husband (who was in the military at the time) in 2004, relocated to San Antonio. After years of struggling with her own skin, she decided to dig deeper into skincare and help others whose confidence suffered due to skin conditions. She enrolled in Cosmetology School and obtained her Texas Esthetician License in 2006. During her years of being in the aesthetics industry, she had 2 daughters (currently ages: 12 & 9) which whom she spends most of her time when not working.

Heather started her career in the salon/spa environment but soon realized her goal was to work in a medical setting. A few of her favorite treatments to perform are Micro-needling, lasers, and body contouring.
