Sonia Villarreal, PA-C

Sonia is a board-certified Physician Assistant and San Antonio native. She has a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada and a Master’s degree in Biology from University of Texas at San Antonio.  She has over 12 years of experience in family practice but has always been passionate about dermatology and addressing patients’ skin care needs.

She is known for her caring personality and provides thorough evaluations for each patient. She has a special interest in medical dermatology and enjoys educating her patients on skin cancer prevention.  She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.  She is delighted to be part of Dermatology San Antonio and taking care of her community. When not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, painting & reading.
